I would like to thank the committee for the honour of judging at this show, as I was one of the founder committee members of this club many years ago. I would also like to thank my stewards Mr & Mrs McGrann who kept me on the straight and narrow all day, and all the exhibitors who took my decisions so sportingly.
All exhibits were immaculately turned out, all with excellent Schnauzer temperament and attitude. The final decisions were very difficult. I would have liked to have at least 3 sets of CCS for each sex.
BOB: Newman & Day’s CH. Risepark Born This Way. Super brick shaped head with neat V shaped ears. Good overall shape of correct proportions and size. Good tail set. Excellent mover – really motored round the right with exceptional rear drive. DCC, BOB. Apparently this was his 4th CC to top his crown. BIS – Well done.
RBOB: Davidson’s CH. Wellingley Which Way Now. Feminine ultra smart bitch with excellent crisp jacket of correct texture and colour. Nice length of neck, neat ears. Good rear angulation. Correct topline. Moved out very well with purpose. BCC
BP: Allen’s Malenda Majalis. Pepper & Salt short back, cobby body with correct tail carriage. Neat ears with good length of foreface. Deep chest. Moved well. BPB, BP.
BV: Gudgin & Campbell’s CH. Uireda Everyone’s At It with Jennayr ShCM. Pepper & Salt 7 ½ years old in good hard condition. Correct harsh banded jacket. Dark eyes. Good teeth. Short back with good bend of stifle. Moved okay. BVD, BV.

BOB: Mrs J & Miss K Fish’s Foxwood’s Destiny’s Child. This girl totally blew me away today. What you see is what you get with her, she has absolutely nothing to hide behind. She is so correct in size, has a wonderful head with neat ears that she uses perfectly. Great front angles, correct length of body and fantastic hindquarters. Her coat was so hard and was presented beautifully. The muscle tone on her was spot on (definitely fit for function). The more she moved the better she got and although I loved my dog CC winner this girl completely out moved him to win the BCC and BOB. Was delighted to see her also taking RES BIS later in the day.
RBOB: Ms N Rylance’s Foolshouse Capone at Foxwood. “Wow”. This boy has class in abundance and at 3 and a half years old is just coming into his prime. Correct size, super head with extra dark eyes giving a great expression. I particularly like the length of his head too. His front assembly is of the best. Great shoulder placement leading to a strong but not overdone neck. He is short in loin and has just sufficient angulation behind. Presented in super hard condition and fabulous coat. His movement was free and easy, being powerful with that touch of lightness about it. I was very happy to give him the DCC and thrilled to learn this made him up…. Well done a very worthy CH.
BP: Mr A Trafford’s Treuherz Georgia. To say I fell hook, line and sinker for this baby would be an understatement! 6 months pepper and salt who is just so very, very pretty. Good bone, lovely head with good ear placement when she decided to hold them correctly. She is ultra short in body and has decent hindquarters. Super coat and colour. Both her and her owner were at their first show and that was apparent, however they did more than enough to win this class and a couple more and then the more I looked at her in the challenge for best puppy the more I couldn’t resist her. Would have brought her home with me in a flash! BPB & BP

MPD
!. Veal Philoma Midnight Sun. Eight and a half months old. Super head on this puppy with the darkest of eyes giving a very nice e_xpression. Good bone with the best of feet. Is a little long at the moment but am sure he will grow just a little more to even himself up. Very steady showman for one so young.
PD
1. Tyson Tyshunde Apprentice. Well grown 11 and a half months old. Good head with decent earset. Lovely shoulder placement with a very good forechest. Short in body. Fantastic coat, which could have been just a little shorter for overall neatness. Moved really well in this class but decided to throw it away in the challenge, his front legs were going all over the place, which was a great shame. BPD
2. Brown Draxpark Hot Tip. A much larger and rangier boy than the first. He was in great coat and condition. Just couldn’t match the winner in general shape. Movement was ok.
PGD
1. Watmough and Allen Lucavale Washington at Andmaura. Just turned 2 year old pepper and salt. He is a lovely shape bodywise. Too heavy in head for me being much too cheeky. Small neat ears. Great tailset and moved ok.
LD
1. Brown Foxwood’s Backtrack. This boy is a lovely size. He has a very good head although he could use his ears better. Decent front with a good forechest. For me he is just a little over angulated behind which spoilt the overall picture when he was standing. Was handled really well and obviously knows his job inside out.
2. Brown Honoring Major vd Teigthoeve (imp NLD) Very tall 4 year old Pepper and Salt. Super coat and colour on this one. I have to say he had the most fabulous temperament, you could almost see him smiling as he went round the ring, so proud of himself. A dog I would imagine that is great to live with.
OD
This really was a super class. Any one of these six boys could have taken it. They all have something to offer the breed which bodes well for the future.
1. Rylance Foolshouse. Capone at Foxwood. My notes just say “Wow”. I was very happy to give him the DCC and thrilled to learn this made him up….Well done a very worthy CH.
2. Semjonova Robamarlee Back in Black. (IKC) Loved this boy too. He is a smart as paint. Not quite the head of the winner but equally as good in body condition. Moved so well and presented to the minute. A little longer in loin but this really doesn’t distract from the overall picture. Great coat and colour, I liked him very much. RCC
3. Smith Ch Boston Blackstone (Imp)
MPB
1. Trafford Treuherz Georgia To say I fell hook, line and sinker for this baby would be an understatement! 6 months pepper and salt who is just so very very pretty. Good bone, lovely head with good ear placement when she decided to hold them correctly. She is ultra short in body and has a decent hindquarters. Super coat and colour. Both her and her owner were at their first show and that was apparent, however they did more than enough to win this class and a couple more and then the more I looked at her in the challenge for best puppy the more I couldn’t resist her. Would have brought her home with me in a flash! BPB & BP
2. Turner Dayshaun’s Enchantress. Another nice puppy. Longer coupled than the winner and just a bit too much hind angulation for me. She has a very good front and was well bodied for her age.
PB
1. Trafford Treuherz Georgia
2. Roe and Stewart Echodream Athena. Gorgeous head on this puppy. Well grown but longer all through compared to the Pepper and Salt puppy. Coat was not at its best today.
JB
- Rylance and Moss Foxwood’s Dare To Dazzle Reisenheim. A good honest young lady. Nothing I didn’t like about her. She was shown in super condition having a very hard coat which was so well presented. Not the easiest to handle I would imagine as she does tend to have a mind of her own. Another 12 months on her and she will be up there with the best of them.
2. Cook Eskaidee Black Betty. Another nice young bitch. She is just a tad longer than 1 and not the length of leg. Had a pleasing head with well shaped dark eyes. Moved really well being very sound going both ways. Was very well handled.
LB
1. George Dasval Valeria Messalina. I liked this girl very much. She is so well balanced. Well off for bone but not at all heavy. Pleasing head with neat well placed ears. Strong neck leading to good shoulder placement. In great body condition. She is very sound but I would just like a bit more oomph! Well presented and handled.
2. Whitney Primavista’s Got The Look. This girl has a head to die for, The darkest of eyes and that wonderful Giant expression. She is lovely but today I found her lacking a little in body condition making her look narrow all through compared to 1st.
3. Foxwood’s Femme Fatale for Dulejoes.
OB
Another cracking class.
1. Fish Foxwood’s Destiny’s Child.
2. Staples Ferncliffe Pistols at Dawn for Ruffhaus. Similar to my winner in so many ways. The ultimate show girl. Very smart. I was really nit picking here but just preferred the winners little extra length of front leg. On the move this girl pulls out all the stops and makes such a fab outline. Res CC.
3. Semjonova Velournoir Callisto Tammy (IKC)
