General Data Portection Regulation (GDPR)
Data Protection Legislation in the EU will change on May 25th2018. The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) builds on the existing Data Protection legislation to help to ensure that your data is handled, as you would wish it to be.
We have therefore put together a new Privacy Notice in order that we can provide you with more detailed information about how we use and protect your information that will align with the new GDPR. Keeping your personal data safe and secure will be our top priority. These changes will not alter the way we use and protect your information, but it makes it easier for you to find out how we use.
As part of these changes, the Northern Schnauzer Club (NSC) has been undertaking a review of the way in which data must be handled in line with the requirements under the GDPR. This has involved asking the five ‘Ws’:
- WHOSE data
- WHAT data
- WHY the data is being used
- WHEN is it processed
- WHERE is it stored
Please note that we:
Will never pass or sell your Personal data to third parties
You don’t need to do anything but if your personal details have recently changed, please inform the Secretary, Miss Chris Ellingworth via email: doncleve@me.com
